TEACHER | WRITER | CURATOR | HOST
In 2007, Benjamin opened LUXYOGA, a boutique retreat in the South of France featured in Esquire, Vogue, The New York Times, and more. In 2017, he was called “a master” by Yoga Journal. His newest project, The Bozeman House, is a 20-acre ranch in majestic Montana - a cozy-luxury escape that has presented a host of challenges laid out in a film series on YouTube.
Benjamin is known for his ability to share impactful information from many sources in a clear way that meets people where they are. He is equal parts practical and mystical, cracks jokes (some of them funny) and makes his guests feel at home. His presence is much warmer than his face looks in Yoga photos. Benjamin coaches, teaches, practices, writes, cooks, hikes, skis and loves hard, and is grateful to his family, friends, and teachers, in particular Nevine Michaan of Katonah Yoga.

BOZEMAN HOUSE
LUXYOGA
Benjamin Sears began practicing Yoga in 2001 to address serious back and knee injuries, and stuck around because the practice gave him a safe-haven to process a great loss. In 2017, Yoga Journal called him a “master.” He doesn’t buy it but is grateful for the kind words.
In 2007, Benjamin founded the LUXYOGA retreat in the South of France, an experience featured in Esquire, Yoga Journal, Vogue, the New York Times Magazine, and more. He is currently developing Bozeman House, a luxury 20-acre wellness and event location near to a national forest only 20-minutes from Bozeman, MT. LUXYOGA continues to thrive as a transformational experience in-person at retreats and trainings at Bozeman House, on an organic ranch in the Paradise Valley of Montana, wherever Benjamin travels, and online. He conducts seminars worldwide, mentors yoga teachers, and leads acclaimed 200, 300 and 500 hour Yoga Alliance certified teacher training programs. Throughout the Covid-19 Pandemic, LUXYOGA’s online programs generated over $20,000 for charity and continue to support students around the world.
Benjamin believes in empowering students to make their own realizations with material that transcends dogma. He teaches an ever-evolving integration of Yoga, mobility science, breath-work, and meditation, and is renowned for connecting the dots with clarity and humor. He usually laughs at his own jokes.
Benjamin has a B.A. from UCLA and certifications in Katonah, Bikram, Forrest, Dharma Mittra Yoga, and Functional Range Conditioning, as well as studies within the Ido Portal Method, Ashtanga Yoga, Mindfulness Meditation, Wim Hoff Breathwork, The Oxygen Advantage, and Marma Ayurveda. He is obsessed with practice, committed to the evolution of his work, and believes the real magic is the practical integration of technique, concentration and consistency. He loves to cook, make fires, and go to museums in cool outfits. Do not allow him more than one sip of a caffeinated beverage.
